Valentines Day aka LOVE day!!

To my Valentine. You are the best man I know. Thank you for always being so wonderful and for doing everything you possibly can to make me happy. I love being able to share my life with you every single day. Thank you for always making feel so special and beautiful and LOVED. Thank you for loving me despite my faults and for thinking I'm CUTE when I have no makeup on, or when I'm singing really badly in the shower! haha You are my everything, and I know the best is yet to come!

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when I found out Valentines Day fell on a Sunday this year! It actually turned out rather well though. On Saturday Skyler spoiled me the entire day and on Sunday I got to spoil him! We had TWO Valentines days! On Saturday morning Skyler and I woke up SO excited. I had gotten him a present a few days before that I was DYING to give him and he had gotten me something he was excited about too!! Skyler loves watches and has a few really nice ones. I had always wanted to get him a watch because I know he would really appreciate it... especially because he hardly ever buys anything for himself anymore. SO, I went to a watch store here In Idaho Falls and found a gorgeous watch but before I bought it I texted a bunch of his friends and sent them the picture to get their approval. They all said he would love it. So, three hours later... I bought it! :) I was still nervous to give it to him because he is very picky about his watches and I didn't want him to hate it. Well, HE LOVED IT!! You should have seen his face when he opened it!

Then Skyler gave me his present. He had gotten me a gift card to a salon to go pamper myself so I honestly wasn't expecting anything else. He pulled out a gift bag from Kay jewelers and I about died. It was a gorgeous heart diamond necklace and it is so beautiful! It's true... every kiss does begin with Kay! haha jk

Id have to say that started off my day rather well. After that Skyler ran some errands and I went to the salon with my gift card to get my nails done. I went shopping afterwards for a little while and then decided to go home so I could clean the house and get ready for our HOT date!
As I was getting ready, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and to my surprise there was Skyler holding a HUGE bouquet of roses!

Haha Could this day get any better!?? Later, we went to dinner at a place called Collage in downtown Idaho Falls. We had a gourmet five course meal that was to die for! I got to wear the dress I had bought weeks before online at Victoria's Secret so that was fun, and Skyler looked especially handsome that night!

He also took my to see Valentines Day in theaters. Haha he knows me so well, I kept telling him I wanted to see it, so a week before Vday he bought the tickets. He sure is catching on well. :)

On Sunday, the REAL love day... I made Skyler waffles in the morning, lunch, and yummy burritos for dinner. I also made us both homemade sugar cookies that were the perfect ending to the perfect weekend of love!

I know we don't need a Holiday to celebrate our love for our spouses, but it sure is nice spending a day like this with the one person who can make me smile NO MATTER WHAT! I love you so much Skyler, thank you for everything!

Emmetts Blessing!

I must say that I have the cutest nephews IN THE WORLD!!! This last weekend was Emmett's (my youngest nephew) baby blessing! Me and Skyler drove to Layton to be there and it was so fun! All day saturday Skyler and I went shopping at the gateway and we had a blast. Sometimes it's fun to just walk around holding your husbands hand without a care in the world! He took me to my FAVORITE restaurant in the whole world THAIFOON and we ate there, it was amazing! Later that night we met up with my Dad and the rest of my family at my moms house. They all went out to dinner so Skyler and I stayed home with my nephews Pierson and Nathan. They slept the entire time (hooray for us!) haha! They are so much fun and always full of energy! Sunday was Emmetts blessing so we all went to church. I cant tell you how nice it was to sit at church with my entire family. Skyler was in the circle when they blessed Emmett so I thought that was so precious. It gives me goosebumps whenever Skyler gives a blessing especially when he gives ME one! Im so grateful to have a worthy priesthood holder as my husband. Its the best feeling in the world! Emmett was quiet the entire time as his Dad gave him the baby blessing and did I mention how cute he looked all dressed in white?

Babies are so precious. I cant tell you how much I love ALL my nephews, they mean the World to me. I have five nephews now and no nieces. James, Pierson, Nathan, Emmett, and Bowen. OH and one on the way... so that makes six! I want a niece so bad, but MAYBE ill just have to be the first to have a girl! :) My nephew Pierson pointed to my belly a few weeks ago and said, "is there a baby in there?! HAHA normally I would take offence to that but I knew he didnt mean it in a mean way and my belly doesnt stick out at all. (hopefully) haha so I said, "I dunno Pierson... do you know something I dont!?" and he said, "Yeah, its baby girl!" Me and my sister Becky (his mom) giggled quietly. Oh how I wish I was having a baby girl right now, but I guess ill just have to wait!
